So this is the underpainting for a bird painting I am doing. Their are two things that really really get to me. One of them is animals suffering for humans messing up the planet. Seeing weather patterns acting odd, statistics about 50% of animal populations dying by 2100; its not fair. So I wanted to quantify this idea in an illustration. Three birds: a mom, a dad and a baby all freezing in the snow. The mom is holding the freezing baby, the dad is overing them but looking into the distance at a human town way in the distance. There will be other little things in it too but thats the main theme. I'll be working on it right after this post!
